Podcasts – Listen Your Favorite Podcasts

Podcasts is a free and open source Podcasts client application for Linux. Using this application you can listen your favorite podcast shows. You can add the new podcasts using the feed url (RSS, Atom, iTunes, and Soundcloud links) or also import your podcast subscriptions from other apps via OPML files. You can play, update, and manage your podcasts using this app. It supports various audio formats and remember where you stopped listening.

How to Install Podcasts on Ubuntu Linux

You can install Podcasts via the flatpak package file from flathub. First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart your system after the installation. After that open the terminal command-line application and run this Podcasts flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub org.gnome.Podcasts

It will install the latest version of Podcasts app on your system. You can open it via the application menu or also using the below command.

flatpak run org.gnome.Podcasts

And uninstall Podcasts using this command.

sudo flatpak uninstall org.gnome.Podcasts
