KADAS Albireo Mapping Application

KADAS Albireo is a free and open source mapping application for Linux and Windows. It is based on QGIS and targeted at non specialized users. It comes with enhanced functionalities in drawing, measuring, terrain analysis. You can easily add geometries, pins, geo referenced pictures and other symbols in the map. The main features are terrain analysis, integrated GPS geolocation support and GPX waypoint and route editor, multiple map views, 3D globe view, map grids, integrated geodata catalog and more.

Install KADAS Albireo on Ubuntu Linux

KADAS Albireo is available as flatpak package file from flathub. You need to install flatpak and flathub on your system first. After the installation restart your system. Open the command-line terminal app using the ctrl+alt+t keys or via applications menu and run below KADAS Albireo flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub com.sourcepole.kadas

You can start KADAS Albireo via below command.

flatpak run com.sourcepole.kadas

If you want to uninstall it then run below KADAS Albireo flatpak uninstallation command.

sudo flatpak uninstall com.sourcepole.kadas
