Begining WordPress version 4.2, it will uses some seo friendly permalinks by default if your web server support it.

And without rewrites enabled it will set

1.Log into your wordpress admin.

2.click permalinks under settings.

3.Then select Custom Structure option and type below tag in field and click save changes.

/%postname%/%post_id%/

4. Then click save changes button.It will generate rewrite rules and attempt to insert them into the proper .htaccess file. If it can’t, it will say something like You should update your .htaccess now and print out the rules for you to copy and paste into the .htaccess file.We suggest that you do this towards the start of your website, so you don’t have to go through the process of re-indexing in search engine.
