Microsoft has announced the Windows 8 Edition names.

Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro – For PCs and tablets powered by x86 processors (both 32 and 64 bit).
Windows RT – For ARM processors.
Windows 8 Enterprise – For enterprise
some number of local-language-only versions for China and other selected emerging markets.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview hits 1 million downloads

According to Microsoft’s Windows 8 development team, Windows 8 Consumer Preview hits 1 million downloads within the first 24 hours of its release announced on Twitter. But it doesn’t mean that that many users have actually installed the preview.
