Mozilla firefox 10 is now available for download. what’s new in this firefox 10?

The forward button is now hidden until you navigate back
Most add-ons are now compatible with new versions of Firefox by default.
Anti-Aliasing for WebGL is now implemented.
CSS3 3D-Transforms are now supported.
New bdi tag element for bi-directional text isolation, along with supporting CSS properties.
Full Screen APIs allow you to build a web application that runs full screen.
added IndexedDB APIs to more closely match the specification.
Inspect tool with content highlighting, includes new CSS Style Inspector.
Fixed:Mac OS X only – after installing the latest Java release from Apple, Firefox may crash when closing a tab with a Java applet installed.
FIXED:Some users may experience a crash when moving bookmarks.

Apache HTTP Server 2.2.22 Released

Apache HTTP Server 2.2.22 is now available for download.This version of Apache is a security and bug fix release.what’s new in this release?

Includes the Apache Portable Runtime (APR) version 1.4.5 and APR Utility Library (APR-util) version 1.4.2.
This release builds on and extends the Apache 2.0 API.
SECURITY: Reject requests where the request-URI does not match the HTTP specification, preventing unexpected expansion of target URLs in some reverse proxy configurations.

SECURITY: Fix integer overflow in ap_pregsub() which, when the mod_setenvif module is enabled, could allow local users to gain privileges via a .htaccess file.

SECURITY: Resolve additional cases of URL rewriting with ProxyPassMatch or RewriteRule, where particular request-URIs could result in undesired backend network exposure in some configurations.

SECURITY: mod_log_config: Fix segfault (crash) when the ‘%{cookiename}C’ log format string is in use and a client sends a nameless, valueless cookie, causing a denial of service. The issue existed since version 2.2.17.

SECURITY: Fix scoreboard issue which could allow an unprivileged child process could cause the parent to crash at shutdown rather than terminate cleanly.

SECURITY: Fixed an issue in error responses that could expose “httpOnly” cookies when no custom ErrorDocument is specified for status code 400.

FDM (Free download manager) 3.9 Release Candidate 1 build 1194 is now available for download and testing. what’s new in Free download manager 3.9 Release Candidate 1? This version of FDM has a lot of changes and it was built using the updated version of developing environment.

Mozilla’s Asa Dotzler announced that Firefox team is moving to a newer version of the Visual (Studio Visual Studio 2010).

“Next Tuesday or Wednesday, after Firefox 12 moves to Aurora, the Mozilla Release Engineering team will begin upgrading our Windows build systems to Visual Studio 2010. With VS2010, we will no longer be able to build a Firefox that runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP RTM, and Windows Service Pack 1.”

Google+ teens

Google+ is now available to teens 13 and over and with new protections for those teens who join. Some of teens features are

Teens see a warning when they share with “Public” or “Extended Circles”.
By default, only the people in teens’ circles can interact with them and their posts.
Teens are muted if a stranger outside their circles joins the hangout.

The new age restrictions will undoubtedly help Google increase its user base.
