Google is celebrating Peter Carl Fabergé’s 166th birthday google with a set of six gold and precious metals google doodle on its homepage.

Peter Carl Fabergé also known as “Karl Gustavovich Fabergé” ( May 30 1846 – September 24, 1920) was a Russian jeweller, best known for the famous Fabergé eggs, made in the style of genuine Easter eggs, but using precious metals and gemstones rather than more mundane materials.

Notepad++ 6.1.3 released

Notepad++ 6.1.3 is now available for download.What’s new in this version?

Enhance the performance issue for xml matching tags highlighting and for displaying clickable links.
While the amount of file to open is larger than 200, a dialog will be shown to warn user.
Fix Notepad++ close bug while move one cloned new empty document into another view, in the destination contained only this new empty document.
Fix hanging problem while double-click on a project folder then (immediately) drag it.
Fix a bug while command argument contain an empty string (“”).
Fix mouse cursor disappearing bug on right click while a project item is dragging.

Nokia announced that Bing Maps now uses Nokia Maps traffic information and geocoding algorithms. That means Bing Maps is now using Nokia Maps geocoding in several countries to offer better routes and directions and offer the same traffic information that is already available at Nokia Maps in 24 countries
