Google just released chrome 16 (16.0.912.63) for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame, a new stable version of its popular browser.

what’s new in this chrome 16 stable ?

1.Now signing in to Chrome enables sync and brings chrome bookmarks and other personalized settings to all of your computers. Example: anything you update on one device instantly updates everywhere else. To sign in to Chrome, just go to the Wrench menu and select “Sign in to Chrome.”
2.Added a new feature that lets people who use a shared computer each have their own personalized Chrome. To add a new user to Chrome, go to Options (Preferences on a Mac), click “Personal Stuff,” and click “Add new user.”

1.Now view the most popular and highest-rated apps using two new sorting filters (available in the store’s homepage and category view)

2.Find new apps and extensions by using the new “Related” tab.

3.Two new collections with apps and extensions that can help you plan your winter holidays and make the most of the new year.

Robert Noyce’s 84th birthday google doodle

The search giant Google is celebrating the 84th birthday of Robert Noyce with a stylised electronic chip google doodle on its homepage. Robert Norton Noyce (December 12, 1927 – June 3, 1990), nicknamed “the Mayor of Silicon Valley”, co-founded Fairchild Semiconductor in 1957 and Intel in 1968. He is also credited (along with Jack Kilby) with the invention of the integrated circuit or microchip which fueled the personal computer revolution and gave Silicon Valley its name.

Youtube rolling out an updated video manager with some new features. What’s new?

Simplified top and left navigation bars.
Icons to indicate privacy status, if monetization is enabled and scheduled publish status.
Badges to indicate whether videos are HD, Creative Commons and/or captioned.
A new look.

To try out the new design, go to the Video Manager and click try it now.
