How to Install QMPlay2 on Ubuntu Linux
QMPlay2 is available as a portable AppImage and flatpak package file. Download QMPlay2 in .AppImage file format from the above download link and save it on your Downloads folder. Here the downloaded file name is “QMPlay2-22.10.23-1-x86_64.AppImage“. You can change below commands based your downloaded file name.
Open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below commands one by one.
cd Downloads
sudo chmod +x ~ QMPlay2-22.10.23-1-x86_64.AppImage
./QMPlay2-22.10.23-1-x86_64.AppImage
Install QMPlay2 via Flatpak:
First if you don’t have then install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation. After that in the terminal run below QMPlay2 flatpak install command.
How to Install flatpak and flathub
flatpak install flathub io.github.zaps166.QMPlay2
After the installation run this command to start QMPlay2
flatpak run io.github.zaps166.QMPlay2
And you can uninstall QMPlay2 using below command.
sudo flatpak uninstall io.github.zaps166.QMPlay2
