Apple announces iOS 9, OS X 10.11 El Capitan and Apple Music

Apple announces iOS 9,OS X 10.11 “El Capitan” and Apple Music at WWDC (Worldwide Developer Conference) 2015.

iOS 9:

improved user experience
extending battery life
boosting device performance
enhancing security
changes to Siri

Apple Music:

music downloads
streaming radio
a streaming music service
cost $9.99 a month, or $14.99 for a family plan of up to six individuals
will be available on iPhones, iPads, Macs, PCs, and Android.
will be available June 30th

OS X 10.11 El Capitan:

Metal architecture
will be 1.4x faster at launching apps
twice as fast switching between apps
PDF previews 4x faster.
will be available as a beta for developers starting today
the final release coming this fall
