iQPuzzle – I.Q. Challenging Pentomino Puzzle Game

iQPuzzle is a free and open source I.Q. challenging pentomino puzzle game for Windows, Linux and MacOS. In this game the pentominos are used as puzzle pieces and it comes with more than 300 different board shapes to play this game. You can also create you own levels and configure block move, rotate and flip. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0

Download iQPuzzle [Windows,Linux,MacOS]

Install iQPuzzle on Ubuntu Linux

iQPuzzle is available as a portable AppImage, flatpak and Ubuntu PPA for Ubuntu. First download iQPuzzle in a portable .AppImage file format from the above download link and save it on your Downloads folder. In terminal application run below commands one by one.

cd Downloads
sudo chmod +x ~ iQPuzzle-0-Build244.2.glibc2.14-x86_64.AppImage

Here “iQPuzzle-0-Build244.2.glibc2.14-x86_64.AppImage” is the downloaded file name. You can change the commands based on your file name. Then start iQPuzzle using below command.

./iQPuzzle-0-Build244.2.glibc2.14-x86_64.AppImage

Install iQPuzzle via PPA:

You can also install iQPuzzle via the below PPA on Ubuntu system. Open the terminal and in terminal run below command one by one.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elthoro/iqpuzzle
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install iqpuzzle

Install iQPuzzle via Flatpak

First you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation. Open the terminal app and run below iQPuzzle flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub com.github.elth0r0.iqpuzzle

You can run iQPuzzle puzzle game using below command.

flatpak run com.github.elth0r0.iqpuzzle

You can also uninstall iQPuzzle game via

sudo flatpak uninstall com.github.elth0r0.iqpuzzle
