How to install ImEditor image editor on Ubuntu

ImEditor is a free and open source image editor for Linux. It is released under GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE v3 license. Using this simple and easy to use image editor you can create and edit PNG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, and ICO files. It comes with some basic filters and you can also draw on images. It supports two modes RGB and RGBA. Some other features are history and selection feature, rotate the image and gives some image details. How to install flatpak on ubuntu:

ImEditor image editor available as a univeral flatpak package file for Ubuntu. Follow the above flatpak installation and setup tutorial first. After that to install ImEditor, open your Ubuntu terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run this installation command.

flatpak install flathub io.github.ImEditor

During the installation you need to confirm the instllation by typing y and press enter. You can start ImEditor image editor by running below command in terminal.

flatpak run io.github.ImEditor

You can also uninstall this app by using this command.

sudo flatpak uninstall io.github.ImEditor
