How to install AnimationMaker on Ubuntu

AnimationMaker is a free and open source animation software for Linux. using this you can create animated presentations in simple and easy way. You can export your animation in mpg, mp4, avi video format and in animated gif, XML file and GSAP, SVG to include in html documents. It is inspired by Adobe Edge html animation software. It comes with timeline and keyframes support to create your animation. It looks like simple animator but useful one. Follow the below steps to install it on Ubuntu.

Install AnimationMaker on Ubuntu:

Go to the below download link and download the latest AnimationMaker on Ubuntu. It is available in setup file. For me the downloaded file name is “AnimationMaker-Linux-1.8.4.1.Setup”. You can change below commands in this tutorial based on your downloaded file name and path.

Download AnimationMaker

Navigate to your downloaded folder and right click on the downloaded .Setup file and select Properties. Then go to the Permissions tab and check the Allow executing files as program option. close this window. Then again right click and select Run.

It will start the AnimationMaker installer setup.

 

And finish the installation. My installation path is Home/AnimationMaker the default path. Then open the terminal app (Ctrl+Alt+T) and navigate to the installation path.

cd AnimationMaker

Then run this command to start AnimationMaker.

sudo ./AppRun

If needed enter your ubuntu user password.
