Activate Bucklespring Keyboard Sound On Ubuntu Using Bucklespring

Bucklespring is a free keyboard sound emulator for Linux, Mac and Windows. It creates the sound of IBM Model-M bucklespring keyboard while you type on your computer. Bucklespring plays back the sound of each key pressed and released on your keyboard. Just like the old days. According to the author the main purpose of this app is to annoy his (your) coworkers.

Install bucklespring keyboard sound On Ubuntu:

The installation of bucklespring keyboard sound emulator on Ubuntu is very easy. It is available as a snap package. Open you terminal app and then type the below command and hit the enter key.

sudo snap install bucklespring

Type your Ubuntu password to confirm the installation if needed

After the successful installation of bucklespring keyboard sound on Ubuntu, type the below command and press the enter key to activate bucklespring keyboard sound On Ubuntu.

bucklespring.buckle

Don’t close the terminal, open your browser or any other app and start typing with bucklespring keyboard sound.
Note: If you get any error, just run above command once again and wait some and start typing, it will work.

You can also install bucklespring from the below command also

sudo apt-get install bucklespring

if you want to close the program, just type Ctr+C in terminal or just close the terminal app.
