Betaworks buys Digg.com

New York technology studio Betaworks has agreed to buy Digg and all of its remaining assets for only $500,000. Betaworks is combining Digg with News.me.Betaworks CEO John Borthwick will become CEO of the new Digg.7-year-old Digg has 350M Diggs, 28M Story Submissions and 40M Comments.
